Hi everybody, I'm a newbie to the site & Syncro's, been reading for a while & thought you guys might have something to say about a Syncro camper I am looking at buying. All I know is it's a German import 89 Carravelle 1.6TD in need of some TLC (paint & interior, usual seams, handles etc) It's pearl white (or was at somestage!) with Pueblo graphics? it has a sticker near the fusebox that says: interior AYN DST KFU RBD does that mean anything? also has Options 643 657 & 990.
It's tucked away at the back of a garage with limited access awaiting a new head & I will be giving it a thourgh inspection when she's up & running, any tips on what to look out for etc. would be appreciated

Have a few pics but don't know how to post em!!!!!

Option codes:
* M 643 file box at the driver's door (door pocket, no biggie)
* M 657 power steering (good)
* M 990 seats in the driver area Velours with arm rests of Caravelle GL (aka. 'captains seats', a nice option)
Dunno about the three-letter codes.
Does it have diff-locks ? If so there'll be a housing in the lower middle of the dash with one or two round knobs. Very good to have, but many LHD vans were made without.

Unless I'm mistaken, most of those stickers are climbing/mountaineering brands. Not sure that that's useful info though!

The van has been imported from Germany was owned by a snowboarder, hence the stickers & has been stuck in a garage having a new head fitted, I collect it next week (hopefully).
I intend to strip it & get what needs doing done, to get her usable this summer ie: tidy up, already have some Vactan & Rustoleum (Marlin Blue) winging it's way to me, so all the stickers coming off (free to good homes if required

)
The Binder Pueblo conversion is almost the same as a Westy interior (see pics)
There are a couple of broken cupboard handles (see pic4) anyone any ideas where I can source these?
