Removed spark plug to find what type to replace with. I have a GKN 3 nose type plug.
Can these be replaced with a standard type? Also is there any noticable difference in using the 3 nose type?

It might help the more technical people if you told us what engine you have.

Jake,
There
is a 1.9 GW according to The Haynes manual. Needs to be run on minimum RON 98 unleaded fuel unless the timing has been retarded to suit lower grade. (DJ is a 2.1litre)
Spark plugs for the 1.9 litre engines are quoted as Bosch W7DTC (Champion N7BYC) for ignition coils with
GREEN sticker
Bosch W7DCO (Champion N7YCX) for coils with a
GREY sticker.
Your plugs NGK (Not GKN?) three electrode are not really suitable (it seems) for our rather primitive ignition systems, more designed for low maintenance on modern vehicles with more powerful sparks.

Yeah, dislexia rules. GKN spark plugs they are.
The gw engine (according to haynes manual) is fuel injected but mines a carb. Also has a coil with a green sticker
