Looks like you all had a great time in Pickering! Me and the Mrs were not too far away - we went to Robin Hoods Bay, which was great. We wanted to pop in on you guys on the way back to york, but couldnt remember which campsite you were at. we tried a couple on the off chance, but obviously got the wrong ones. Think we must have seen a couple of you on the route through the hole of horcum... most memorably one just on the tight hairpin as i was going up the hill.. made a cheery wave very complicated!!!
anyway, sorry to miss meeting you all - although i should be able to pop down to the seaton ross meet for a pint this weekend if any of you are going there?
in the meantime, here is a quick pic of our first camper breakfasts ever!

Did you get cold??? I'm trying to pursuade hubby to go in this easter holidays somewhere but he thinks its too cold and thinks the kids will freeze, I'm sure wrapped up in duvets at night we will all survive, give us some encouragement! (Although I see you other half had her breakfast in the van, bit nippy out??)

Always assume you're going to be cold. Takes lots of extra blankets/quilts and tracky bottoms, thermal top etc. It's always easier to strip layers off to cool down than it is to get warm once you're cold!
Anyway, what have you all been waiting for? Most of us have been camping throughout the winter (and bloody cold it was too!)
There'll be quite a few of us at Seaton Ross so get yourself down.
(Morning Nicola!)

Looks like you had a great weekend, what a view!
I'm looking forward to cooking my first brekkie this weekend. Shame my little girl appears to have taken a dislike to bacon recently - all the more for me!!!!
It was a bit chilly for us on Saturday night but I put T in all in one pjs and put a blanket on top of her before the duvet. Actually I think she was too hot tbh but she had just been in the hot tub for an hour!
I had socks, tracky dax, long sleeve cotton T and felt a bit warm at times too, mind you felt a bit chilly too LOL. I love that cold face but snug under the duvet feeling.
Our forecast for Easter is heavy rain on Friday night

its warm enough under a big double duvet! a hot water bottle is always an option i guess, but i just slept with more clothes on than usual (well, shorts and tshirt

)
