First sleep in Tink!

I just thought I'd share as we had our first sleep in Tink last night and it was great!
Bit chilly but I rugged T up and wore tracky daks and a thick top myself. Actually I think T was too hot in the end LOL.
Didn't try out my thermopads coz it was a party and had better things to do (like relax in the hot tub!) but it wasn't too bad and I actually slept till 7:30am.
Have discovered the gas bottle is empty so a good job we were on a friends' driveway and brekkie was laid on inside the house!
Easter here we come, must get gas bottle and watch the How To Erect Your Kyham Awning video before next Friday.
We love our Tink! She even has "Powered By Fairydust" and a Tinkerbell decal now.
Happy Camper

ha ha, glad it went well! I love sleeping in our van after parties. Yet another use for em

.... (you can save a bit at weddings to, by kippin in the carpark rather than a hotel room he he he)
It was cold on sat night though. We were in Langdale and I'd have to say i think it was one of the coldest i have done for a while. Like your T, Summer woke in the morning, saying she was too hot! Lucky bugger i thought as i was freezing!

Where did you put T, did she sleep alongside you or have you come up with a bunk for her? Sum slept ok in her new cab buk, apart from a few tears in the middle of the night a couple of times when she woke up and was a bit confused where she was. Hoping she'll be better next time as it should be a bit more familiar.
Enjoy your Easter trip.

Oh I'm glad to her all these stories of sleeping out, I'm hoping to go away this easter holiday but hubby thinks we will be too cold??! Wimp! My only concern is our middle daughter has a habit of several wee wees in the night and she will be up in the viking roof! Either we put a toilet up there, very smelly and not nice I would think or in the middle of the night we will be landed upon on our rock and roll bed by a 9year old with a full bladder!!
What a conundrum???

I put T in with me, she's too big to do a parcel shelf affair but a bit too little for a cab bunk just yet. I left the roof down to keep a bit of warmth in but we'll have it up at Easter I expect.
Once I get some gas I can warm us up with a boiling kettle before bed, then I just have to worry about the gas not turning off properly LOL.
Easter seems to have come around so quickly and I still have a fair bit to do this week, including finding a new gas bottle!!!!

your sleeping the wrong way round!!! feet should be at the tailgate, how else can you put the kettle on without getting out of bed???

Oh!!! Right ok, but I'm sure then i'd get a really cold face! Is there supposed to be some rubber round the door or something to exclude the draught? Just wondered if that is missing or is it supposed to be like that?
