Wet carburetors?

I've been working on my 82 Aircooled 2 litre, trying to sort out a clattering noise from the engine, when I suddnely saw that BOTH carbs seem to be wet with petrol - not exactly spitting out, but enough to wet my rags when wiping... are they supposed to leak a bit? What do I do??... plus one nozle just pulled straight out from the top of the carb... can I just glue it back in?!

Thanks!

agreed, Gasure is the place - had mine rebuilt there a month ago - gives great piece of mind - no one wants petrol leaking!
