Hi, got a few questions about setting up my fresh water...

I've got a submersible pump that seems to work, but it's not connected to the tap (electric microswitch type from JK). The pump connects to 13mm pipe (garden hose size), whereas the tap requires a much smaller type (looks like 9mm). Where can I get an adapter to join these two hose types together?

The water tank is currently under the back seat on the sliding door side. This seems quite a long way from the sink. The tank fits nicely in the gas cupboard below the sink (next to gas bottle), so thinking of moving it - does this seem a sensible idea, or is there some advantage to keeping the tank where it currently is?

Do I need special drinking water hose, or will any garden hose do? Also, I want to sterilise the whole system. Will running a weak milton solution through it all be safe for the pump, or should I use the proper puriclean stuff?

pu the tank where you wnat it may have been there to keep centre of gravity low if goign in cupboard under the sink id use a gerry can easier to fill up

you cna get 9-13mm hose reducers from car shops or ebay etc

Fo the sake of it i got proper 13mm water hose at 99/m as its smooth inside unlike garden hose thats has ridges and could hold stuff

Again i used puriclean its made for the job and not dear to be honest your submergable pumps are only like £10 new it more for people with inl line expensive £70 pumps to avoid milton

thanks andy. Eventually found a cheap reducer on ebay... took a while as was overwhelmed with posh silicon ones for £10 each
Will go for the proper hose too, as I only need a meter of each size, so cheap as chips
