Whats the redline on a 96 EJ22?

I'm pretty sure it redlines at 6500rpm and limits around 7000.
Have heard of some redlining at 6000 and limiting at 6500 though.
Doesn't seem to be an exact science from one vehicle to the next even though the engine is the same. Maybe a practicality issue or something?!!

I think mine must be 6,500 then

Hold ya boot down till you hit the limiter and read off the tacho,mine goes past 6,200.
