It's an electrolux rm212f and I have never used it on gas in the 3 years of having the van but since I have had all the interior out it seems silly not to give it a good seeing to (oooeerrr)

So what do i do

The main thing that needs doing is to brush out the pipe the exhaust fumes rise up. It rusts and "pooh" drops down and bridges the ignition and stops the spark. Give the lower area a good clean out where the flame is.

Cheers Bilbo I removed the metal cover around the burner and gave it a good clean (no dirt). Then I refitted the gas and checked the union coupling for gas leaks and made sure the flue pipe was sound and secure then proceeded to fire it up first time with no apparent ill effects

Is it normal to get condensation dripping from the flue outlet grid on the side of the van?

Yeh thats normal.
If you light up your cooker burners in the winter you can see the condensation misting up the windows almost instantly.
Same thing with the flame in the fridge.
