i have put the word out around my local scrap yards for a nice low milage azz 1.9td engine
i have a 1.7d na at the momment
i have read up on the wiki and learnt alot but still have a few questions
what will i need to convert :?:
it looks like i need a monifold from a 1.6td is there anythink else i need from this engine :?:
will my 1.7 clutch fit and which fly wheel :?:
how does the air intake work can i use the pipe to the side air vent :?:
when i am asking for an engine is there a best azz type to use ie fuel pump and i know these come out of golfs , passats and seats but what year car do these range from :?:
do i need an oil cooler or inter cooler. :?:
one more thing for now i have replaced every brake pipe on the van but my clutch pipe is also rotten and my flairing tool only does 3/16" pipe so can you buy the clutch pipe as a stock item as it has a larger bore :?:
sorry for so many questions and i am sure there will be loads more as i am doing a complete restro on this. i will post a few pics as i go :ok
