Have just chisseled off the filler from the left hand sliding door.

Was told they did it as they couldnt get a replacement handle, however the internal lock switch is loose and held in the upright by a cunnning means :S

I want to fit a handle/key, but do you thing I need a whole new mechanism. I dont want to fit a new handle and find out it wont lock

Oh and if the switch goes down it doesnt lock anyway. I have to reach round and push the handle to open it

I'd be shocked if you can't find the whole lot on ebay or the like?...

Yeah but I need to know if i need to get the whole kaboodle of just a few bits

early locks are diferent to late too fella....

if you can wait - then it may pay you to rummage around at the shows when they get going
