what size fuel pipe ? to carb is it 7mm as it says in wiki thought i read somewere 4.7 mm 1.9 df watercooled df thanks

Iirc 7mm fuel hose is used from the tank outlet to the inline fuel filter. It was a motor factor of very long standing in Bolton who told me about the so called 5mm fuel hose actually being 4.7mm. Sometimes I have wondered if that is true. The fuel hose within the engine bay is most likely to be 5mm ie. to the fuel pump & then to the carb.
