For removing heavy deposits of dirt and grime, moss and stains I use Jiff cream cleaner (mildly abrasive) on a well soaked sponge and then buff with a good quality cream polish such as 'Mer'. There are special cleaning fluids available for caravans that you add to water but I found it easier and quicker with Jiff. I clean/polish mine once a year and it looks as though it was just fitted. There are cleaners such as Cillit Bang, which are non abrasive, but can react badly with some materials. Others will have their own preferences so you should get a few more replies.

I did mine 1st time with a soft brush and standard car soap - it was very very green though...

I have heard of people using some washing powder (for clothes) for things like this in the past - I don;t know if it was bio or non-bio though and also what the results were :?

I have used non-bio washing powder, dump it on a wet sponge and does the trick, got bollocked by Carrie tho', none left to do the washing and I hadn't replaced it...........no clean undies but the high top looked cool! :D

WOW really i'm going to try these as mine is dull and grey and old looking! I've always been worried that products will damage the roof, Have tried polishs and caravan cleaners but not having enough elbow greese behind it! Just ends up looks smeared and smudged more! I admit i don't think its been cleaned or polished for YEARS so will try a few of your great ideas guys..... Runs to get step ladder and soap powder!
