I have just spent four days repairing my rusty windows getting from this
To this
If there is enough interest from people wanting to know how to do this i would gladly write up a step by step guide with pictures. Just let me know.

looks great now tony
the pics from umgum were caravelle windows i think, i rekon they are a lot harder to repair than our panel vans. one advantage for us there then. this in no way detracts from the work you,ve done. when can i come and have a proper look?

It's a piece of pi$$ caravelle windows are probably easier. Especially when re fitting windows.

come on the Peps let see some pictures then.
Some before you started pictures would be handy, just to see what we can expect when we start picking away at that little rust bubble.

Basically van window are just cut out of a van, carravelle windows are done in the factory.

close up of th'swage ah bent on a folder
tacked up one spot at a tarm n dowsed with a rag to stop any warp
fully welded in showt bursts and dowsed again to prevent warping
make shift folder which i ended cuttin up cause eet woz crap
and the finished product
