Anti-theft ideas for fiamma awing?

just bought a 2nd hand fiamma awning and was wondering if anyone had done any mods to the brackets to stop anyone just unbolting it and disappearing into the night?

Weld it on...........a spot of mig on the nut should hold it.

Put the bolt in the other way round if you can be a pain to do up but also a pain to undo!

I must admit to having the same concerns...I bought a new F45i last summer.
I reckon you could drill and insert mills pins in to the ends of the 8mm bolts, this would give any potential thieves a right headache...

Yes bolts other way works fine in mine - just need those plastic cap things inside. Bare nuts are painful.

Yes I agree - put the nuts on the inside but use Nylock or Simmonds nuts so they need a spanner both ends. Even so is posible to unbolt it from the brackets if you open it so I fit a stubby padlock in the operating eye so as to slow the prospective thief just a tad more.

Perhaps an allen bolt with nyloc lock nut.

i drilled the nuts into the bolts and added a couple of roll pins, and the screw thathold mine onto the rail shape bit were replaced with pop rivits, but mine is a older autobox.

bike racks are more at risk i recon
