Faulty Speedo

Hi All,
Our bus has a speedo that annoyingly clicks all the time over about 30mph and the time has come to sort it out as the stereo (and the kids!) volume can go no higher to drown it out. I have replaced the cable so I believe it is definately the speedo at fault.

I contacted our local instrument repair shop in Nottingham who pointed me in the direction of speedycables. I rang them and they need me to send the speedo and then they will give me a quote, the whole process will take about a month to six weeks! As we use the bus all the time I looked for a second hand unit on ebay etc to put in whilst it is away but can't find a thing!

Any ideas?

Cheers

Jason

Thanks for the ideas, I have checked that it is located correctly and re-attached it many times. I have also lubricated the cable but to no avail. I could do with trying another one to rule out everything else, any ideas where I could get one from?

Cheers
