Wiring on Electrolux RM 212F Fridge

We have managed to work out where the 12v and mains wires go on a newly bought Electrolux RM 212F Fridge. However a green wire coming from the ignition switch is proving difficult to wire. We have a wiring diagram and a copy of the manual from wiki but there is no mention of a green wire.
Any ideas welcome.
Thanks Katie

This is probably going to be the 12v live feed but wired to the ignition so that you dont run the battery flat though it would normaly trigger a relay

If you are referring to the ignition switch on the Fridge (There is also one on the van!)
I don't know about the colour of the wire but my RM 212F has its electronic ignitor switch wired to a 12volt permanent live through a 7.5 amp fuse.
My 12volt live is from the leisure battery.

yes i did, had that setup on the fridge on my narrowboat, used 240 when moored and gas when cruiseing, think i may have changed the battery 2 or 3 times in as many years

Thye fridge is not in my van yet - I bought it with all the wires cut and am in the process of testing it before using. I did read that a 9 volt battery will ignite the gas. Can you remember how you connected the 9 volt battery seasider?
The other thing I noticed was that the 12 volt only worked when wired red to negative and white to positive, is this normal.

on a narrow boat you have to have a cert of compliance, so fridge was fitted by corgi reg plumber, all he did if i remember was fit a 9volt battery connection to the 12v supply..

The green wire goes to the positive on the battery. Just have to hook up gas now to test completely.
