Leaking clutch cylinder maybe?

My cab floor is wet!!! Now, it is not very wet, just damp, and the water seems to be dripping now n' again off the bottom of the clutch cylinder behind the dash... that is a little corroded - but the 'water' feels a little climey, how can I tell if it is clutch fluid and not simply water?? Also, how the hell do I check where it is coming from if it is water... ? Can you easily take the dash out?
Thanks.

Climey? is that the same as slippery.
crutch and brake fluid smells funny

kinda soapy smell, and it will burn
dash out is covered in the wiki.. not a ten minute jobby though.
water usually comes in via the windscreen seal or the washer jets

Ha ha - yes it was quickly written!!! God, another weekend long job it seems? The fluid does smell a little but of course I'm wipping it off corroded metal, so it would smell wouldn't it!! Bum... There isn't a litmus test paper is there ha ha!

Keep a very close check on the brake/clutch fluid level
If it has not dropped then its water
if it has then its the master cylinder leaking
