Stereo question

My stereo has started switching on and off every couple of seconds. What could be causing this? What should I be checking? It runs off the leisure battery under the passenger seat and has it's own fuses
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Andy

Flat leisure battery?
Mine does this when the battery is "empty".

The sound on mine switches off just leaving flashing lights. Looked in the manuel and he says it's a built in protection from excessive damp.

Most likely a flat battery but could also be a short somewhere in the speaker circuit. Would either be the wires to the speakers of the actual speakers themselves.
Some stereos have this as a built in safety feature to prevent the amp from being damaged.

Sounds like its not getting enough power from the battery. The radio microphones do that at work on out door gigs when the generator the gear is running on starts to reach its limit.
