Hello all
Im trying to establish what size my alternator is on my air cooled 2ltr is. I believe the alternator is the orginal. in my haynes manuel they say there was two sizes 40 and 60amp.

Any ideas.
Next question if required is there an alternative that could be fitted without modification that is bigger than 60 amp.

Look at the red/silver Bosch sticker stuck on the alternator for type and output.
