Hi, I wonder if anybody could give me a rought idea of how much the following would cost at a garage:
A new exhaust for a 1982 T25 2 litre petrol, purchased and fitted complete. PLUS the purchase of and fitting of the two metal pipes, one for each side, which conect the heat exchangers with the main 'engine to cab' heater pipes.
Thanks!!

Are we talking 2 litre petrol air cooled or 1.9 petrol water cooled with it being an 82 model, you see some of us have been caught out before while replying to similar posts.....
if you have a 1.9 then try one of these beasties from LAP.....
a nice piece of kit for just over 400 quid...fit it your self..

Fritz,,,,,,,next////////sounds nice too.....

What's with the ribbed oil pump cover Fritz ? Is it an early type ? The only ones I've seen are plain .
Ian.

Running this exhaust on our camper. It's nice bit of kit, but is too loud for my liking. Loud deep rumbling sound between 2400 and 3600 rpm makes it hard to hear yourself think.

helga,
I am after an aftermarket exhaust for my Aircooled also, turbothomas will do a custom jobby
without heat exchangers for about 500 quid, all stainless. If anyone has any other suppliers please let us know. I am personally doing away with the heater in the van as i only use it during spring/summer/autum and as the heater is pants anyway, i will stick to gloves and hats
