Hi, I'm looking to get the van sorted for the summer, well 2 weeks then the summer starts.

The van is 1.9 DG Pierburg 2e2 carb.

The van starts second turn of the key, and a few revs. Idles fine, then as the engine warms up the revs rise and rise and rise then stay quite fast probably about 3000.

Any ideas, suggestions.

Brief press down on accelerator and then release it. Revs drop again? Works on ours anyway. Something to do with automatic choke? Not sure.

Mine stays on, or at high revs, I wonder if the choke is sticking on
