Short & Simple MOT Question

Is a cracked fog lamp lense classed as a failure? Lamp is still working.

Short & simple answer :-
Not if there is no bits of lens missing or showing any white light to the rear.
If its a front fog it doesnt come into the MOT unless it has a dangerous or sharp projection

i think you will find the sharpe edge rule ONLY applies to body work!

one of those stupid no common sense mot rules!
first thing they tell you when you go on the testers course - common sense goes out the window
if its not body work its not a fail. ie i can glue razors ot my bonnet/bumpers and it will pass!
