Well thanks to all you guys re wheel braces etc... on my first mini holiday, two days in Wales, I realised I had a buckled wheel and DID have to use the small bottle jack and brace... all worked beautifully... except it took me half an hour and a hell of a lot of swearing to get the cap off the bloody wheel! Is there a special tool for this?

Anyway, what did I find on my holiday but... wet... the driver.s side floor got really wet... water was dripping off the bottom of the break pipe under the steering wheel... now it is def water, but where could it be coming from? Condensation running down do you reckon, it was very wet in there over night?

PLUS... she has stopped letting me choose first gear now, well most of the time - gear box messed up do you think?

Cheers everybody.

the gear selecting thing might be coz you put your buckled wheel away upside down in the carrier and its pushing up on the box that protects the gear linkage
