can i ask you a quick question, when refit my exhaust (2ltr cu ), should i use jointing paste aswell as the new gaskets, or just the new gaskets on their own?
i have flatted off and made good all the joining surfaces, no point using the stuff if its not needed

belt and braces.i would of thought a smear of paste wouldn't do any harm..
