Agreed valuation for insurance

Hi all,
I have just bought a Autosleeper T25 VHT (high top). My insurance company have offered to give me an agreed valuation, they will only value it upto the sum that it is insured for. I paid 3995 for it but feel it was a very good buy, its a 1989 model with 90 000 on the clock and in very good condition.
Would it be worth insuring it for more before getting the valuation done? If so any suggestions on what sort of figure?

Roy

Depends on condition, but 5, 6 or even £7000 probably isn't to far off, the way to look at it, is to consider how much it woul dcost to find another one to replace it

I'm currently wrangling with Trinity Lane Insurance (my broker is Adrian Flux) and they are being very difficult at paying up for anything despite an agreed value and set personal belongings amount.

Tip for all: KEEP YOUR RECEIPTS!
