Just changed all my HT leads and king lead, and my 82 air cooled is running much better - I think... The thing is I accidently pulled a lead off whilst engine was running... and the engine sound didn't change?? So... after I stuck it back in HOW do I know if that one, or another, is missing??
How can you tell 'I'm firing on all cylinders'!! ha ha.
Does it even matter?

hi again,
take plug out of the cylinder you suspect isnt firing, and it will be wet and petrolly if its not happening.....

I agree but to get a better idea of what is going on pull each plug lead off in turn and you will see which if any are not firing as when you pull one off which is doing its bit you will now only have two cylinders firing and the engine will likely stop completely or tick over like a bag of poo!
