Lots of info if you do a search. Simple things like hidden battery disconnect switch, electric fuel pump switch, etc. are good. We have them, an alarm, and an mobilizer. Still, if someone wants it bad enough, they will take it. Some are stolen with recovery lorries.

Pull the low-tension lead from the dizzy. Would take way too long for them to figure that one out. Better still, fit a hidden switch to that line.

lol - they'd have to know which van and where the switch is
I use the alarm and a coil feed isolating switch which is perhaps a step up from removing the rotor arm. Was actually going to fit a domestic PIR unit to detect any interior movement as well. Mind you, alarm or no alarm, if someone breaks your window, they break your window but you can at least make it much harder to drive away thats the main thing. Wheel clamp is another option I guess but easier to disrupt power to engine bay.

"Drive away" is key here. Don't forget many are not "driven away" but are "hauled away" on recovery like lorries.

Im wanting to fit some security on my van,ive got an alarm immobiliser ready to put in but id like a hidden switch or two.
Can anyone tell me where to locate the wires for the fuel pump so I can put a switch in? Also which is the best wire to use on the ignition to put a switch in,and would i need to use a relay? (Might be best by pm)
Thanks

Any reason why you shouldn't chain down the rear axle? Resin bolt an eyelet into your driveway and chain the rear axle same as you would the back wheel of a bike. Cures both the drive away and the haul away.
