Wiki leisure battery question

I need to replace the leisure battery in my 1990 Westy as it won't hold a charge but I'm not sure if it has got the right one currently fitted (changed the main battery last summer & it had one fitted which was not powerful enough). I have looked on the wiki which shows the dimensions 310 wide X 175 deep (front to back) X 190 high but I'm not sure what voltage or ampage the leisure battery should be. I also remember reading on here somewhere that a normal car type battery is ok but I cant find the link. When I got the new main battery from Halfords they simply looked my van up on the computer and gave me the correct one but clearly they wont list one for the leisure system on an imported Westy.
Any help would be appreciated.

I have just fitted a 65 A/H normal starter battery as my leisure battery.
I chose 65 A/H because it was the largest that would fit in the hole (the height being critical - iirc 180mm being max).

A code 096 from hafords fits the battery box. westy or not
it's not a leisure battery but if you're using it just for weekends and the odd two week holiday it'll suffice
