hi all

need help again!! want to retro fit headrests to my 84 velle have managed to get a set but need the guides and clips.

got the part no's for them (thanks horace83) and whent to my local vw parts dept they couldent help because it's commercial?

so i thought i would go to the breakers and look for some from an early golf or polo.

these proved impossible to remove without breaking!! did get one by forcing with srewdrivers but nearly took my eye out.

right, have a part no for van ones no 811 881 939

the one i got from the same year golf today at the breakers 171.881.939 A ,look to be the same on 1990 golfs as well

does any one know if these will fit as i will go back to the parts dept and get golf ones.

other than that does any one know of any comercial vw parts departments.

need some news on these headrest questions
comercial parts dept hasent phoned back
will the early golf ones do the trick?
must be the same as vw are so tight they use the same handles switches etc on some early cars.
sorry i'm going on now, will have a beer and chill.
if there is anybody out there that has done this pleeeeese help
wife now moaning have bought headrests but can't fit them.
