option 1bubblewrap

Im curently using this stuck to the insides of my panels,

option 2 foil covered foam

Was thinkign of using this any pros/cons?

second picture looks like celotex?? its all right I deliver it can be dusty thow so seal joins with tape its probably the best insultation you can get. But its expensive.

i just bought a 7m roll of the option 1 today from focus £24.99 works a treat easy to cut to shape.

Have just bought a coupe of rolls of Foil covered polystyrene from B&Q - anyone have any thoughts on how good this stuff is?...

the picture is rubbish - it's around 5mm thick..

problem with polistyreene is its very flamable and gives off toxic fumes. The celotex if your near cardiff try 'A&A insulation, Spar depot, Llantrisant just off j34 they are about a3rd of the price as it is repaired reject stock and cash probably works very well!!

Hope your foam backed insulation is fire-proof?

nope googled it hehe but my best mate works in wickes who sell it:P

I deliver it (or used to think we lost the contract) for van use I d see if they ve got any damaged boards as you dont need an 8x4 in a van. Try Sheffield insulation theres a discount battle going on

What's the issue of it being fireproof? if the van catches fire I wont be in there I understand about fires whilst your asleep etc but don't forget that inside nearly all vans there is a lot of flammable materials (like all your cushions that are gagging to give of toxic fumes and all the timber and carpet) and there also a bomb in waiting called the fuel tank.....

I only bought 2 rolls and at 6 quid each I haven't lost very much...

Lastly - what methods are people using to stick/bond whatever insulation they use to the panels?
