Hi Peeps

I have fitted a new oil pump and its not working
Which of the bores feeds the head and which returns it to the sump ? :?

Does the oil go through the filter before or after the head ? :?

I have checked the rings and they appear to be fine but it is smoking more than I do, thats a lot , ask SyncroG

I need to get it sorted before I have to sell her , bloody Spanish Guardia Civil

Did you prime the pump before bolting it up ?

Oil should be picked up from sump and then pumped through filter before going anywhere else.

Regards

Fritz........ :o

i normally fill the pump with grease,
or remove the oil pressure sender, find a piece of pipe the fits snugly in the thread then suck on the pipe till it fills with oil
clear pipe is best so u can see the oil, otherwise you get a mouthful.
