Was chatting to some guy at the LPG pump and he was saying he had to replace his petrol pump, his garage thought the reason may have been lack of use.
They told him to run the car at least once a week on petrol. His car was under 2 years old so could be some truth in it. Just thought I'd pass this on and see if anyone else had heard the same.

you should run it on petrol every now and again anyway, because the petrol pipes will deteriate much faster with no use, and the diaphram in the pump will too, that said, i dont switch mine to petrol, the £6 worth i bought as emergancy back up 3 years ago is mostly still in there ( i think) because i lent someone my petrol pump a couple of years ago, and only recently when i changed engines did i reinstall it........along with all the petrol pipie in the engine bay and the filter
