Hi,

My van seems to stay on choke for an awful long time, I have changed the pull down unit thinking it was failing but it does not appear to have done the trick. I ran the van at idle with the air intake trunking off, and applied pressure to the choke valve to see if there was reistance (As per Haynes), which I have to admit there did not appear to be, it was easy to close off. Fitted the spare pull down but it still seems to require 6+ miles or so to come off choke? 18-20 MPG with the high top conversion so its a little annoying, just wondered if anyone had any other ideas about what could be causing it? if it sounds about right then I'll simply put up with it.
