Hi,
Just took delivery today of a Bluebird 3/4 R'n'R bed for the beloved wedgy and our on-going quest to bring her back to life.
The bed is a proper peice of kit and really well made but I didn't realise that you need to build a raised section for over the engine compartment which I was suprised and disappointed to find out.
Looked at several other posts on this subject and this does indeed appear to be the case.
Does anyone have any plans / dimensions for such a box so I can work out how much plywood to buy and then cut?
Thanks in advance of your help.
Chris
I used to be rich, then I bought a T25...

Sorry, also forgot to ask - does anyone know what size the holes need to be drilled in the rear bulkhead to fit the brackets?

As for the raised ib i fitted the seat and put it into bed mode then made and fitted my own frame work and ended up with 3 cupboards, not near my van at the mo but i can take some pics on monday and post them up for you if that helps???

Cheers everyone for the responses.
Was aware of the JK one but having had lots of quality issues with their products and the cost of £100, wouldn't touch one of these with a barge pole.
Just gonna have a go at building one out of ply myself and hope I get the measurements about right...
Cheers,
Chris F

I adapted mine a bit to increase the depth of the rear over engine locker, but it basically bolts into the seat belt mounts.
The instructions were none too clear. You then have to bolt the base of the front panel through then floor.
I didnt understand the bracket thing for the rear engine locker, and made my own.
Simon.

Looks good, how much does the mechanisum drop down into the space under the bed? where the sloping bulkhead is. Ive installed my propex heater in the bulkhead about half way up, just wondering if im going to have to move it somewhere else.
Thanks for the pics.
Ste.

There is plenty of storage under the seat, enough for my rear heater, two full size batteries, awning, leveling ramps.
It is a little on the narrow size, but good for storage.
The interior needs the second fit and finish when the weather warms up a bit.
