Hi, I Have an autohomes kamper and want to remove the stickers from the side, any ideas of the safest way to do this without it looking a mess or ruining the paint?

Heat the stickers with a hair-dryer to loosen the glue. Peal off carefully. You may need too clean off any excess sticky stuff with white-spirit and give the side a t-cut to get the paint to match as the area that was covered by the sticker may not have faded as badly/at all compared to the rest of the van.

You can get some stuff called stickie remover, but tbh I'd go with the hair dryer routine, give the neighbours something to laugh at too!

yep agree with beakie mine had a orrible 3 colour brown sticker the whole way round the van took me and the missus 2 days to remove it, sore fingers for 3 days after so if you play guitar or piano or even fiddle sticks you be buggered as they say

hi agree with above about hairdryer or heatgun if available but be carefull not to apply to much heat, any sticky left can be removed with panel wipe or M.E.K if available (20 mins using this stuff and you smile for hours!!)
sorry to say though if the stickers have been on for donkeys years there is a good chance the paint around it will have faded so much even farecla cutting compound will not bring the colour up to match.
then you are left with a nice band of diferent coloured paint round your van!!
just thought i would throw that in hope it helps.

Hi Frostbus, Thanks for the tip, I know its going to look a bit weird as the van has been resprayed, I think its the origional white but they did'nt take stickers off first, and have just gone up to them!
At some stage I will get proper respray done but for now will be happy just to not have ugly brown stripe.
I have also got very slight rust in the seams down the side, I know this is common on T25's but not sure how easy this is to sort.
cheers
