How are these attached to the doors? I wanna take them off so I can respray the van and colour code them.

from underneath you will find there are two bolts attaching the trims to the plates that are fixed to the van skin, undo the bolts (hoping that the captive end stays captive in the plastic) a few turns and you will be able to lift the trims out and up and off
