Hi everyone.

Just a thought I had among the 500 questions I think I need to ask :?
Does anyone know the correct height of a High Top Autosleeper?

Think I should make a note of it so I don't go crashing into Tesco's barrier.
Thanks
Dan

 won't be any more than 2.8m always worth making sure you add a bit on to the height to account for roof lights etc!

Thanks for that!
:ok

Better think of getting it tattooed on my eyelids! I close them anyway when I go under a barrier!

I would play it safe and measure it. A hightop is expensive to repair or replace.

its really easy to measure the roof.........

if you havent got a laser measurer, all you need is two bits of string and a brush pole or simular, put the pole over the roof, and when equal amounts of string are dangling to the floor each side measure the length of the string and thats the height, add 3 inches and that the gap you need to get under on a flat surface........

Hey Folks,

Somewhat of a similar question, I am looking at picking up this bus but I was wondering what height it is? Went to see it today but didn't bring a tape measure with me :(

Any pointers would be great, I think my garage has a barrier of 96"

Thanks

Can I suggest you take height restriction warnings with a pinch of salt. I have heard of a van that got scraped on the slope of a car park. On the flat the restriction notice was valid but at the bottom of a slope the roof managed to hit the lip of the roof.
I am a bit anxious about such places as multistory car parks at the best of times and would be reluctant to take my van anywhere where there was even a hint that there might be a problem.

Thanks, I had the tape measure out with me last night, it's for the basement of my apartment. There are sections that are a whopping 12' high so I will see if I leave it there.

Thanks for the info.

Just bought the van after 2 years of saving hunting, so stoked.

Yes I am thinking on fitting an arial up front to act like a vertical cats whisker so I will have about two foot of warning before I hear the crunch. Need better radio reception anyway!
