Just a really silly question but what is the physical size of the battery compartment on the T25?

...I am going to buy a new battery in my lunch break but left the measurements at home

Under seat Dimensions, 310 wide x 175 deep (front to back) x 190 high. these are absolute maximum a shade less would be better. I have measured to the bottom of a swivel seat on a camper.

I am guessing that the compartments on behind both seats are the same size?

Don`t forget they measured to the underside of the swivel base

...and don't forget on some interior conversions you have a closing lid on the battery compartment... which will affect available height and if this does not close properly the seat is difficult/impossible to move!

standard battery is a 065 , a 075 fits also.
if you go to battery shop they will be able to give you the correct size from that.
and never buy a battery that has been stored on a concrete floor. make sure you get one off a shelf.

I have two... one is the Aux or "leisure" battery

the reason i didnt mention the 096 is because if he has metal covers and screw in terminals on the leads its too high....

096 should fit with the covers in place as 096 is the BBMS battery dimensions code it doesn't actually relate to battery capacity. An 096 should only be 175mm high but for some reason a couple of manufactures make their 096 higher so you have to be careful when purchasing.

i think i blindly ended up with the higher battery and lifted the drivers seat 1" to accomadate......just about clears the holdsworth swivel seat now
