Was cleaning van earlier and have spotted some hydraulic fluid around the base of the steering colum, have traced back up behind dash so asume the leak is from the master cylinder. Two questions, are the GSF master cylinders any good, or do I go for a OEM one and is it a fairly straight forward job

As usual any advice much appreciated,

Just had another look, could be the clutch master cylinder, cant see where fluid is coming from,

If you can't see where its coming from, just have a feel around. When your fingers come out wet, thats where it's leaking!

could be the clutch master cylinder

If Baxter sells them then go there not GSF.

I changed my clutch cylinder shortly after buying my van, and finding an old sock wrapped around the top of it soaking up the leaking fluid.

I bought the part new off ebay, it was German made and quality looked good.

Fitting wasn't as bad as it initialy looked, just a case of unbolting, disconnecting hydralic pipes (I clamped the braided rubber feed hose so as not to lose fluid), refitting and feeling around to locate the pedal push rod in the top of the cylinder. Mine didn't even need bleeding, the clutch worked fine.

Job is dead easy and you probably won't need to bleed it.
2 bolts, one pipe.
few rags and tip some more fluid in.
1/2 hr will see the job done, blead up, the lot.
