I was reading an advert for TSR tuning or TRS that had mentioned a "special " gearbox .
Called the Freeway Flyer they claimed it had better ratios and much harder to break.
Anyone aware of such a thing ?
or anyone got one fitted ?
Sounds like it would be just the thing for my Audi 5 pot turbo Velle !

"freeway flyer" is a ref to a set of ratios that the Americans developed for the beetle, wont fit a T25...

If you think gearing will be an issue and you wan thte box to last more than 5 mins, then speak to Aidan.. (link in my sig....)

You want a strong fast box? Then you will need someone that builds VW drag race and strong gearboxes all day long.
Peter Englos of COG BOX. :ok
