hi all, ive posted this ont yard too, need help leveling my standard van, would fitting syncro rear springs, lift the a*** end of my van up, which is sitting really low?
dont want to lower the front end, i like the ride height as it is, need a bit of help any suggestions? cheers

Fit some new stock ones!!!!!!!
Syncro ones will lift it a long way........
other option is to use some spacers Brickworks does some as a "westy levelling" kit and may do a pair of rears for you.. but a set of new rear springs would be a better point to start from...

Have you checked the pigtails aren't broken at the top?

ta for the reply, westy leveling kit is a nifty idea, but,the van is used everyday,loaded up with bags of plaster/cement/tiles/tools,etc
even new standard springs would soon sag,,gonna go for syncro rears, hope it works

thanks harryMann, checked em, not broken, just saggy from over use, i reckon.

What about the springs for the "increased payload" vans? Surely that'd be standard spring length but with an apropreately tuned springrate for a heavyly loaded van? Would be better option than Syncro springs as they'd have fairly different carictoristics I'd emadgine. Springs do sag over age, even if you get some standard ones again it should be a good 10 years before they start to sag.

I have been thinking about this for a bit now. I dont put loads of weight in my doka but the back end is lower than my grannys tit's, when i put anything over than 150kg's in.

I was going to put some spacers in but i recon i might go with new springs now.

Your best rout would be to fit Seikle springs all round.
Billyoneball if you fit syncro springs on the rear you will top out the shocks constantly,stretch the cv joints (excessive ware)and the vans handling with the rear in the air will be very bad.

thanks russell, ive already sourced some syncro springs and dampers,so gonna give it a go,the back of the van is always full of heavy building materials,so should keep it down a bit ,and the front end is a high as a syncro anyway ! hoping the rear syncro springs will level everything up, if not ile just have to take up drag racing, santa pod ere i come

Not cheap but cheaper than VW were and i have never seen one break(Seikle is supposed to have brocken one).in the 20+ years of production.
Do the job once.
