if it's fitted properly there are four angle brackets on the legs of the fridge, you'll have to take off the grille first and then get a tocrh and see! the fridge is screwed to the floor!! not through the side of the fridge!

elecrolux fitting instructions say to screw thru the side walls of the recess into the outer casing of the fridge which seems to be the most common method and makes for easy removal for servicing.

The original fridge in the Devon is the 12v and gas piddly little thing. If you are thinking of installing a 3 way fridge then the receiving hole will have to be enlarged, I re-designed/re-fitted/re-piped out my interior at the same time.

A fault on my original Devon fridge was a build up of a waxy substance in the low lying armoured delivery pipe, causing it to cut off the gas supply.

My old 2 way fridge sat on 2 battens and was secured with 2 self tappers through the cupboard side panels into the fridge side panels.

I Have an early devon in the yard. The fridge is secured by 2 screws through the carpeted panel behind the drivers seat, also if you open the cupboard door and remove the cutlery draw you will/should find 1 self tapper above the top shelf and 1 below the shelf,

The feet are not usually screwed down on the devons,.

gas flue lifts off. 12v cable is long enough to disconnect after fridge removal., as has been said the gas pipe is a source of problems, and given its age it should be replaced..
