Ooo.. there's been two since then
Ah well, one courtsey of CJ and the Devon weather... but a very festive and enjoyable weekend again, but lanes a bit tight for a shiney thing like yours
and er, one in Wales, camping at Llanfyllin again and doing some classic Welsh lanes (careful with the typos on that one!)
=======
So the next main Syncronauts event is to buy one of the lovely 2009 calendars as soon as they roll off the press - please

January sometime, if all's well, we hope to run an informal Herts, Cambs, Essex lanes and raging rivers day out
=====
The first 'site' event of the season is usually April sometime, traditionally the 1st, though we may put that back a week or three next year
Last year this was at Whaddon, near MK, and was a real hoot... though not overly well supported. Lots of towing and digging teamwork both days and a compettiive edge here and there made it the sort of thing I enjoy... whether we go back there depends on a) how wet it looks like being when we have to commit to a date (farmer's choice, not ours) b) if we can get a 2nd (Like minded) club to share with us (its expensive)
Otherwise it might be back to Coney Green Farm, which some of us like and others have got a bit bored with... but excellent value for money.
There's also the outside chance someone will find a decent alternative.. but think we have to stress it must be big enough and challenging enough with water on tap, and a flattish decent camping area.

In the meantime, between April sometime and now, it is possible that Secretary Kev will surprise us all - and pull a

out of his magic hat
.. or not!

Ah! Annuvver semi-syncro event - Mr S. Baxter esq. is holding an open day at his new palatial mansion in January and it has been rumoured that there are driveable lanes in the vicinity...
We haven't been formally invited (yet), but then Simon would never deny anyone with a T25 a cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit
a long way for us southerners just for the day, but last year, we sort of 'extended it' a bit, went further North and enjoyed a day of driving through a very flooded Yorkshire Dales... quite a sight some places were, with one group being forced into reverse by the torrents
====
So there's a few options - discuss
