I have a little leak from where the drive shafts meet the gearbox. I am having a gearbox built and was wondering what to do when it is replaced. Do i need to replace the CV joints or get a boot repair kit. Any idea's would be great Cheers. I will also getting a gear linkage repair kit and clutch whilst the whole lot is out.

there won't be any leaks with the rebuilt box :ok ,
if it's leaking now then the sealing cap has come off inside the flange and gear oil is getting into the cv and boot. While changing the box I would advise removing the driveshafts and overhauling them, then you can fit and forget

Cheers Aiden.
What is involved in overhauling the drive shafts and what spares would i need?

take a read of bentley it's all beautifully explained in there - an hours work, lots of paper towel, £5 tub of cv grease, new circlips
maybe new CV boots/bolts if required and you want to fit and forget;
you then know what state the cvs are in and know that they are now full of fresh lubricant, and if they are pitted and likely to become noisy and unreliable you can replace them. Better to do it while the box is out and the pressure isn't on than have a cv fail on a long trip or when the weather is bad and you've no access to somewhere to do them.
S/h shafts complete are pretty cheap so you can get some in and refurb them at your liesure and keep till required.
Also you get to find out how foobarred the heads of the cv bolts are and replace them with new ones so any work in the future is easier , maybe even fit new lock washers too - remember to cover it all with waxoyl afterwards to minimise corrossion and to pi$$ you off if you do have to remove them cos you have to dig out the wax before applying the tool, esp with hex head bolts or you run risk of damaging hex and cursing even more.
