A recent ad for a 1980 T25 pop-top on eBay quoted the feature "Classic insurance just £89". Was this just wishful thinking, or have I missed something obvious that everyone else knows about?

I got ours for £103 last year, it went up to £145 this year, £25 of which is the policy issue fee.

just got mine for £118.
5000 miles
breakdown cover
european cover

so with less miles and a higher voluntary excess, perhaps this is possible.

I'm with HIC thru Glynwood. Had a claim this year so expecting a rise but my posh 1.9AAZ Westy Multivan with ALL mods agreed and covered it was £185 for the year and limited 5000 miles.
