solex 34 pict 5 carb replacement

hi every one, does any one know if i can replace the is carb, i have a t25 1.9 df engine watercooled, the carb is worn and i want to change it, i have no power , stall a lot and have backfire on over run.

sounds mmore like an air leak than a dodgy carb, chech the gaskets
spray em with wd40 when the motor is running if the gasket is gone it will suck the wd40 in and you will hear the engine note change.

Hold your hand over the exhaust and see if its leaking. That's backfire on overrun.
A pair of type3 Weber ICTs would make it go well.
