Everyone wants more power including me and plenty of manufacturers are producing heads and other parts from scratch for more power, but is anyone addressing the ridiculous fuel economy of the Aircooled engine? I would guess that if anyone was, it would be in USA or Germany.
Anyone seen anything like this?

Even with modern injection systems, the Aircooled still have poor economy, you will not get amazing mpg. All you can do is make sure everything is set and working as it should.

The invariable "get it gassed" quote comes to play here - nearly everyone says to LPG convert these to aid with running costs
