Those clips on the body that the front grill attaches to?

the ones where the funny screw goes into that you just turn though 90degrees, can you still get them ? I lost one fiddling today. thanks

I got some off vw about 12-18 months ago, there's a couple of pieces to them, the metal pin and a piece of rubber tube that goes over the end of the pin, behind the grill (to hold the pin in place I think?)

obsolete, its not the pin i need its the brackety thing it goes in! I couldnt see them on just kampers.. only the pin

Thats the way to go. I replaced mine with "clinch nuts" and self tappers, much better and more secure. Also used them on the headlight fixings.............................Think they are called clinch nuts, from the "Range" in a packet for a few bob.

The metal bit that clips into the bodywork behind the top grill, and then the pin locks into it?

If that's the right part and you only need one, I'm fairly certain that I have a spare. Pm me your address and I'll stick it in the post. They're a bit tricky to fit iirc.
