just fried my engine but have a 1.9d out of a 1996 jetta waiting to go in are there any additonal parts apaart from the levers and Spigot shaft bearing that i need apart from the usual stuff ie gaskets etc the engine i fried was a cy 16td with jx exhaust manifolds etc. also can the 1Y be turboed or is it worth it also heard there was a problem with inlet manifolds and help appreciated thanks

just found a bit of info on brickyard supposedly can be done anyone tried this which injector pump do you use jx or aaz also is there much of a difference

I think you will need to change the pump for one with an LDA on it to notice any difference with the turbo. Not sure if the JX pump can be used.
