Gas part prices (not VW)

Have a number of vauxhall Astra dual fuel vans in our fleet at work. trying to do our bit for emissions and keeping costs down.

They work well when going; but we have had a number of problems with the ECU being replaced at £400+ per time and now we have a three year old van which we are told needs a set of jets at £900 plus.. is this realistic?

Should i be looking to an independent gas specialist to do the work or are these gas systems tied in with Vauxhall ?

Somone must be pulling you privates........ 900 quid.... thats most of the conversion......

What make is the conversion (Vauxhaul dont "convert" them, they are sent out to somewhere like "MIRA" where they have an instalation line....) see whats on the parts, prob OMVL or Tartini etc....

I'd try a reputable specialist...

"jets" also doesnt make sense... injectors yes... but jets!!! how many miles have they done??? injectors seem to last about 100k....

Nor MIRA, its Millbrook (the old GM proving ground) they do the LPG conversions on Subaru's in the UK... using "Vialle LPi" kits.....
